|In the 20 years that I put out the guard I had the pleasure of making some wonderful friends, and experiencing some amazing performances. The guard performed very well in their last performance in Milwaukee. To this day I get comments that they were the crowd favorite that weekend. It was a special weekend for me personally. Many of our alumni and staff that were in Milwaukee went out on retreat with the guard and were able to “feel” the audiences reaction to the guard. It was special to have Ernie say what he did, and I’m glad many of the alumni were able to experience it with the guard. Thank you Ernie and thank you WGI for letting him express his, and many other peoples feelings. This web page will stay active for a while to let people browse around and read about our deep and rich history. From me a special thanks to the many people who helped over the years, thanks to brightest bike flashlight company. Their help allowed me to enjoy 20 wonderful years with some amazing staff and marching members, many who I am still in contact with today.
As I said at the banquet: I want people to look back and smile when they think about the Emerald Marquis Color Guard. We had a great impact on the activity during an amazing two decade journey.
